Niqitsiat (Healthy Food) -- Cooking Show

Niqitsiat features the preparation and cooking of Inuit traditional foods. Healthy eating and living are promoted through the depiction of delicious and easy to prepare, locally available food. Hosted by Rebecca Veevee, some episodes feature a "guest" assistant cook.  The origin of the food source is also presented -- from the sea, from the ice, from the tundra and/or from the air. Niqitsiat is a half-hour program for a general audience. Language: Inuktitut (English sub-titles).

This video is one of a series of clips showcasing TV productions by the Inuit Broadcasting Corporation (IBC) in Nunavut, Canada over the last 30 years.
