A traditional Inuit song sung by an elder whose name I only know in Inuktitut. Ayaya music was purged from the Inuit culture by Jesuit missionaries who considered it pagan, and is only now being revived through the memories of the elders. Recorded in Pond Inlet, Nunavut Aug. 24, 2012.
